SAMI & SAMI (Attorneys-at-Law) is a Pakistan law firm focused on intellectual property, technology and business law, based in Lahore. We advise innovators, businesses, investors and foreign law firms on protecting, managing, enforcing and commercialising their rights in Pakistan.
Our attorney-led team works with of counsel, litigation counsel, paralegal and administrative staff, and a network of associate firms, so that each matter is handled by the right expertise under consistent supervision and with a single point of contact.

What we do
Intellectual property is the core of our practice: trademarks and Madrid designations, patents, industrial designs, copyright, geographical indications, plant varieties and integrated circuit layout-designs, from registration and portfolio management to enforcement, disputes and commercialisation.
Alongside IP, we act as a one-stop shop for businesses: business formation, contracts, tax filing and compliance with associated tax advisers, regulatory registrations such as DRAP, advertising and competition law, and written legal opinions. We handle IP and commercial disputes and coordinate general civil and criminal matters with associated litigation counsel.
Training and outreach
We believe that wider understanding of intellectual property strengthens Pakistan’s economy. The firm contributes to IP awareness through:
- training for aspiring lawyers, young professionals and students, and work with academia on IP education
